Knud Holscherscher 1930 -
Knud Holscher studied architecture at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. Between 1960 - 1964 Holscher collaborated with the architect Arne Jacobsen working in Copenhagen and on St Catherine's College in Oxford. Hoscher joined the architectural and planning company Krohn & Hartvig Rasmussen as a partner in 1968. In 1988 on conversion of the company to KHR A/S architects he became both a shareholder and board member of the new business. He retiried from the board of KHR A/S in 1995, establishing in the same year his own practice Knud Holscher Industriel Design and subsequently in 1999 Holscher Architects. We stock the Scanwood range designed in solid beech to which Knud Holscher applied the following four criteria. 1. The items should be esy to use. 2. They function must be self explanatory. 3. They should aquire a beatiful patina with age. 4. Their charactor should be of a quality to use on the dining table. |
