Pernille Vea (Top Left) Industrial designer MDD, graduated from the Danish Design School in 1996 with speciality in furniture and appliances. Pernille Vea has received several international design awards she has gained a reputation for creating innovative designs which has made her one of Scandinavias most successful young designers. Torben Flanbaum (Centre Top) Educated as a plumber but he has worked for several years on original, technical solutions to practical daily problems. The internal construction of the Menu Decanter Pourer is Torben Flanbaums invention. It was produced in co-operation with Martin Sonne, who specialises with graphics and industrial design. Jesper Ranum (Top Right) Graduated in 1996 in product design from the Danish Design School specialising in glass and ceramics. Jesper has created art in various ceramic workshops, and has also taught the subject. Since 2001 he has had his own workshop. He has designed the Circle Knife with Board for Menu. Henriette Melchiorsen (Centre Left) Industrial designer MDD, graduated from the Danish Design School in 1994 with specialty in product and furniture design. Henriette has her own workshop developing ideas for international companies and creating items shown at exhibitions in and outside Denmark. Henriette has designed the salt and pepper scoop for Menu. Torben Rasmussen (Centre) Architect and industrial designer. Graduate of the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. Concentrates mainly on small objects. Highly respected in Denmark and abroad, e.g. for his prize-winning, unconventional aluminium shaver. His designs for Menu include the Menu Wine Pourer and Foil Cutter. Jakob Wagner (Centre Right) Industrial designer MDD, Jakob Wagner graduated from Art Centre Europe in Switzerland in 1992 with specialty in product design. Jakob has designed everything from sports equipment to furniture for leading international companies. Numerous awards, exhibitions and articles have established his name on the European design scene. Jakob designed several of the Vignon wine tools for Menu Bent Falk (Bottom Left) A Graduate of the Danish School of Art and Design (today: Danmarks Designskole) and the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. Has worked on industrial design, furniture art and illumination for 30 years. He has collaborated with Menu A/S for over ten years and amonst other creations Bent designed the popular two piece Salad Tongs. Pil Bredahl Centre Bottom) Industrial designer MDD,Pil Bredahl graduated from the Danish Design School in 1996 with speciality in furniture and appliances. Pil is working with innovative furniture design in her workshop in Copenhagen. She has collaborated with Menu since 2000. The Morter is her first product designed for Menu.
